Baby Hoffman's (Finally) Finished Nursery

Yesterday was my due date, and Baby Hoffman's Nursery was finally finished. There are still a few things that need to be done, but the major things are up, ready, placed, and finished! So now, Baby can arrive at any time now, although she's still apparently planning on being fashionably late, just like her mother was (her Daddy, too).

Bailey's Favorite Spot

We're all moved in to our new home, with lots more to do yet, but already Bailey has found his new favorite spot. We have a great big window in our living room, and he loves to jump onto the couch and then onto the window to be able to have the "best view in the house." When Eric is outside doing yardwork, Bailey will keep watch for hours! Otherwise, it's just a good "napping spot".

Happy 1st & 3rd Birthday Kayla & Mia!

Last Saturday, we celebrated Mia and Kayla's birthdays with them at their cowgirl themed birthday party. They had pony rides, cactus juice, cowboy and cowgirl hats, and lots of fun for everyone! Thank you Durhams for having us and always throwing such great parties! We had a blast!

Happy Mother's Day!

This past Mother's Day we celebrated by going to breakfast at Cracker Barrel with all our loved ones and then taking our annual "Mother's Day" trip to Cabela's...not that it's for the Moms, but I guess the rest of the crowd needs something to do after the Moms' enjoy their breakfast!

After our breakfast and trip to Cabela's, Eric and I spent the afternoon at our new house, and he put together a bunch of baby things for me. It was a good Mother's Day! We then spent the evening at Uncle Joey and Aunt Donna's house and got to see how big Baby Justin is getting!

Things are so hectic with moving and trying to tie things up at work before I go into labor, that we missed belly photos for weeks 34 and 35. But here's a peek at how large I am at 36.

At my 36 week doctor appointment I was 1cm dilated, 50% effaced, and baby was at -1 station. She's working her way down!

Aiden's 5th Birthday

Aiden turned 5 today, and had a birthday party with some family a friends. He got a Nintendo DS and some games to go with it, plus a few other nice presents. I still remember the day he was born like it was yesterday!

Our Growing Family

We are used to just being "Dog Parents" but now every day we get closer and closer to being "Real Parents" to Baby Hoffman. We can't wait though! 

Baby Hoffman's Nursery

We started to set up the baby's nursery in the new house but still have a few things left to hang up on the walls, and we need some window treatments yet! We have her bedding, but it is apparently bad luck (according to Mom Mom Harner) to put the bedding on the crib before the baby is born. I know plenty of people do this, so maybe it is a Harner/Hoffman thing, or an Italian thing, I'm not sure yet, but I'm not taking any chances!
